Coffeepot Lake

Impressive basalt cliffs frame this eastern Washington lake. More than 900 acres bordering the lake are managed for wildlife habitat, as well as for recreational opportunities including boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, camping, and picnicking.

Take Hwy 2 west of Spokane for 32 miles, turn North on State Highway 25 at the town of Davenport, travel 24 miles (follow the signs)

Hawk Creek Campground

Hawk Creek Campground is tucked back from the lake on Hawk Creek. The campground is popular, but small enough to feel private and secluded. A small waterfall adds ambiance to this beautiful and unique campground. Hawk Creek is close to Fort Spokane Visitor Center, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. A courtesy dock provides access to Lake Roosevelt. The campground has 20 individual standard nonelectric sites. All campsites are reservation only.

Keller Ferry Campground    

Keller Ferry Campground is arguably the nicest location for a camping vacation in the Northwest. Located right on the sandy beaches of Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area, this campground offers great water sports, the best in fresh water fishing, stunning views, and nearly perfect summer weather. It’s a very short walk to brand new docks,and the Marina Store where you can rent fishing or ski boats, also pontoon boats.The Campground features a comfort station, areas for picnicking, tent camping, trailer sites (but not hookups) and group sites. Group sites are available only by reservation. There is waste disposal for trailers and boats. Selected campsites at Keller Ferry may be reserved and some are available on a basis of first come – first served. The best spots fill up fast, so it’s a good idea to make reservations early. Porcupine Bay Campground  

Porcupine Bay Campground is a popular amoung campers and boaters alike. It is nestled amount ponderosa pines and shrubs along the Spokane Arm of Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area. The campground has 31 individual standard nonelectric sites. It is open year-round, however drinking water is shut off in winter and sites are not plowed. Davenport is the closest town for campers to replenish basic goods.  This campground is by reservation only. No first come sites available.

This is a very busy and often full campground. Look for alternatives when planning.

Spring Canyon Campground

Spring Canyon Campground, on the shoreline of Lake Roosevelt, is perfect for those who enjoy being on the water. The 130-mile long lake is a feature of the Columbia River created by the Grand Coulee Dam. The lake is named after President Franklin D. Roosevelt and is a part of the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area, managed by the National Park Service.

This large campground offers 78 individual campsites. A boat ramp and docks within the facility provide easy access to the water. Trailers may use the site, but there are no hookups. The campground is open year-round, but water is shut off during winter.
This campground is by reservation only. Reservations must be made in advance.

Take Hwy #2 from Spokane WA travel 61 miles to the town of Wilbur, turn North on Hwy #174 (follow the signs) travel 19 miles turn right at the signs

Twin Lakes Recreation Area

Nestled in at the south end of Upper Twin Lake, this site offers picnicking and camping in a serene setting with a few primitive campsites. Bright yellow balsam root are abundant in the spring. Popular activities here are fishing and paddling on the lakes, hiking, backpacking, hunting, horseback riding, waterfowl and wildflower viewing and photography. Anglers fish for stocked rainbow trout, largemouth bass, yellow perch, yellow bullhead, black crappie, and sunfish. Trails wind through shrub-steppe uplands, and the upper Lake Creek Canyon. Developed wetlands supporting numerous bird populations north of the lakes invite overland hikers to come and explore.

Fort Spokane Launch
Amenities include accessible boat launch, multi lane boat ramp, and boat trailer parking lot.
Minimum lake elevation for boat launch use is 1247′.

Hawk Creek Launch
Amenities include  paved boat launch, dock, information kiosk, and pit toilet. A small parking area is next to the boat launch, but space is limited. 
Minimum lake elevation for the boat launch is 1277′.

Keller Ferry Launch
Keller Boat Launch is a water access point on Lake Roosevelt with a paved boat ramp, docks, large parking area, information kiosk, and vault toilets. The adjacent marina and campground are operated by Lake Roosevelt Adventures
Minimum lake elevation for boat launch is 1229′.

Lincoln Mill Launch
Amenities include a paved boat launch, a boat dock, information kiosk, a picnic area, and vault toilets.
The minimum lake elevation for boat launch is 1245′.

Seven Bays Launch
Seven Bays Boat Launch is a water access point on Lake Roosevelt with a paved boat ramp, docks, parking area, information kiosk, and vault toilet. The adjacent marina and restaurant are operated by Lake Roosevelt Adventures
Minimum lake elevation for boat launch is 1227′.

Sprague Lake

Spring Canyon Launch
The Spring Canyon Boat Launch has a paved ramp with multiple docks for temporary mooring. There is an information kiosk adjacent to the ramp and a vault toilet across the main parking lot. An additional overflow parking area suitable for RV and larger trailers is nearby. A day use area with picnic tables and grills is west of the boat launch, with a swim beach access below. 
Minimum launch elevation is 1222′.
Spring Canyon Campground, reservation required, is also accessible from this location.

As of 2014 all boaters 60 and younger must have a valid WA state boater education card to operate a motorboat greater than 15 horsepower on Washington waters.

Launch Permits
A launch permit is required for the launching of any vessel at all designated National Park Service-managed launch ramps on Lake Roosevelt, regardless of the type of vessel. 

– Weekly Boat Launch Pass

  $10, which allows unlimited launches for up to 7 days from the date of purchase ($5 with a valid America the Beautiful – The National  Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Senior or Access pass) The passes areavailable at each boat launch or  Online through pay.gov. 

– Annual Boat Launch Pass

$60, which allows unlimited launches from purchase date until December 31 of the year printed on the pass.

Note: Annual boat launch passes are no longer available online. Boaters must purchase these in-person at one of the following vendors.
